Case study 01 / AEEN

An eyewear brand.
A connected experience.

AEEN brings together brand identity, a Shopify storefront and product experiences built around choosing a frame.

Context

Eyewear is a visual product. The frame has to feel right before a shopper can imagine wearing it. AEEN’s work connects a recognisable identity with a clearer way to explore the catalogue.

The challenge

A storefront needs more than product listings. Shape, styling, collection organisation and product confidence need to work together without making the mobile journey harder.

The work

  • Built an identity around AEEN’s burgundy palette and its Aeenie mascot.
  • Worked on Shopify product-page customisation, Liquid, CSS and product information.
  • Explored collection imagery for clearer frame-style navigation.
  • Developed a virtual try-on experience for the Octa Metal frame.

What changed

The brand work extends into an interactive product experience. The virtual try-on implementation is the most concrete technical example: a heavy source asset was prepared for browser use, with separate lens materials and face tracking.

This case study describes the build. It does not attribute revenue or conversion changes to it without measured evidence.
