E-Commerce Manager · Pakistan → Worldwide

I find exactly where your store loses sales. Then I fix that layer.

Muhammad Farooqui — e-commerce manager. I read your whole funnel — ads, product pages, cart, COD — and pinpoint the layer that's actually broken. Then I fix it myself — strategy, design and build. You deal with one person, and that person is accountable.

How I think

Most people fix one layer. Sales leak between them.

An agency tunes the ads. A developer tweaks the theme. Nobody owns the gap in between. I read the whole stack first — then put the right hands on the one layer that's actually costing you.

  1. 01Ads & creatives that stop the scroll
  2. 02Landing & collection pages that match the ad
  3. 03Product pages that answer every doubt
  4. 04Add-to-cart that never loses a variant
  5. 05Checkout & COD confirmation that filters fake orders
  6. 06Delivery, support & the repeat order

Skills

Five layers. One expert on all of them.

01 / 05

Meta Ads

Hands-on: me

Accounts structured for learning, not guessing. I audit before I spend, cut what's dragging, and move budget to what the data already proves.

  • Full account audits — campaign, ad set and creative level
  • Proven-winner ad set + experimental audience sets under one CBO budget
  • Targeting built from the account's own breakdowns: age, gender, placement, device, region
  • Creative pruning and iteration on fixed 14-day test windows
02 / 05

Google Ads

Hands-on: me

Meta creates demand. Google catches the people already searching for what you sell — and they usually buy faster.

  • Search and Shopping campaigns built around buying intent
  • Clean product feeds so the right product shows for the right search
  • Negative-keyword hygiene so budget isn't burned on browsers
  • Tracking set up so both platforms are judged on real orders
03 / 05

Shopify Development

Hands-on: me

Hand-written Liquid, not drag-and-drop. That's how a store gets features its theme was never designed for.

  • Custom templates, sections and snippets — even on older vintage themes
  • Metafield-driven content so your team edits text, not code
  • Product JSON-LD for Google rich results
  • Native AJAX cart hooks reused instead of heavy third-party apps
04 / 05

CRO & UX

Hands-on: me

Every element on a product page either removes a doubt or adds one. I design for the first kind.

  • Virtual try-on so shoppers see the product on themselves
  • Sticky add-to-cart with a variant picker that can't be skipped
  • Trust blocks placed exactly where hesitation happens
  • Fluid sizing with clamp() — designed for every phone, not three breakpoints
05 / 05

COD & Operations

Hands-on: me

In cash-on-delivery markets, a sale isn't a sale until it's delivered. The back end matters as much as the ad.

  • COD confirmation flows that filter fake orders before dispatch
  • Courier and remittance records reconciled against store orders
  • Express-delivery options surfaced at the moment of decision
  • AI-assisted customer support that answers from your own data
  • A team covering both Pakistan and US business hours
Funnel X-ray

Where is your store leaking? Four questions.

Twenty seconds, no form. The first "no" is usually where I'd start looking.

01 · AdsDo people click your ads?

02 · Product pageDo visitors add to cart?

03 · CheckoutDo carts turn into orders?

04 · DeliveryDo most COD orders get delivered?

Answer the four questions

Your leak will light up on the stack.

Build log

Things I built myself — from a blank file.

No templates, no "install this app and hope". Here's what I've engineered on live stores, and how each piece works.

01 · Built in-house

Virtual Try-On

The biggest question in online eyewear is "will it suit my face?" So I built a camera-based try-on into the product page itself — the 3D model, the face tracking and the Shopify integration.

  • Shopper taps Try on live and the camera opens on the product page — no app download
  • An 86.9 MB 3D frame optimised down to 2.36 MB, so it actually loads in a browser
  • Lens and metal split into separate materials, so tint and transparency look real
  • Face landmarks position the frame, with temple occlusion and photo capture

02 · Add-to-cart engine

An add-to-cart that never loses the sale

  • Glass "pill" bar follows the shopper while they scroll
  • Opens a variant popup first — wrong-size orders don't happen
  • Adds to cart over AJAX — no page reload, no lost momentum
  • Express-delivery option in a glass modal at the decision point

03 · Product page system

A product page written from scratch

  • Gallery, info card and a tilted "trust slab" placed where doubt peaks
  • Sticky glider tabs — content comes from metafields, so the team edits it without code
  • Structured data (JSON-LD) so Google understands every product
  • Built on a vintage theme that was never meant to support it

Image slot: cards

04 · Design system

One card. The whole store.

  • A single shared card snippet powers home, collections and "you may also like"
  • Ribbons set from a metafield — "Limited Edition" turns gold automatically
  • CSS & JS guarded to load once, however many sections use it
  • Mega menu with product images and collection icons

05 · Support automation

AI support that knows the store

  • Admin panel where the team enters products, policies and FAQs
  • Customer chat answers from that data — not from guesses
  • Self-contained, drops into any site

06 · Ad account audit

Ads that sell — and the audit that knew when they weren't the problem.

A 30-day audit showed a healthy 4.20% account CTR — people were clicking. The leak was the website. That finding is why I rebuilt the store instead of raising the budget.

  • Creative pruning: winners at 5.50% CTR kept, losers at 2.72% cut
  • Budget moved toward the campaigns already proving themselves
  • A 14-day test schedule to measure every change, not assume it

In the account shown: 3,295 website purchases at an average Rs 748 per purchase, across 11 campaigns.

How the work gets done

The expert on the call is the expert doing the work.

Most agencies put a senior person on the sales call and hand your store to a junior. Here it's the opposite: I diagnose, I design the strategy, I build. My team at Farooqui Inc only supports routine execution, under my direction.

Always me

1 · Diagnose

I go through your ads, store, cart and order flow myself and find the layer that's actually leaking.

3 · Review & own the result

Nothing reaches your live store or ad account without my review. One person stays accountable.

Working with me

Your live store never becomes my test lab.

The question every store owner should ask before hiring anyone: "will this break what already works?" Here's how I make sure it doesn't.

Audit before I touch

I study your ads and store first. No changes until I understand what's working.

You sign off the plan

You get a written plan. Nothing gets built until you've agreed to it.

Built on a copy

All work happens on a duplicate theme. You review it through a preview link while your live store keeps selling.

Scoped code

Each section carries its own styles. A change on one page can't quietly break another.

Every screen, properly

Fluid sizing that adapts to any phone, and hover effects only where a real mouse exists.

Documented, not locked in

Files, metafields and conventions are written down. You're never dependent on me to understand your own store.

Process

Four steps. No surprises.

01

Audit

Ads, store, product pages and cart — I find where the money leaks.

02

Plan & sign-off

A clear plan with priorities. You approve before anything is built.

03

Build on staging

Hand-coded on a duplicate theme, reviewed by you through a preview link.

04

Launch & scale

Go live, measure on fixed test windows, then scale what's proven.

Ways to work together

Start small. Scale what works.

Every engagement starts with a clear scope, so you know exactly what you're getting before work begins.

About

I learned e-commerce by doing it.

I'm Muhammad Farooqui, an e-commerce manager. I write code, I run ads, and I've managed PKR 14 crore+ in ad spend across platforms — so when I look at a store, I see the whole system: the creative, the click, the page, the cart and the delivery.

That's why I build features most stores buy as apps — try-on, smart carts, custom product pages — by hand. Owning the code means owning the result.

I also run Farooqui Inc — a small team that handles routine execution, covering both Pakistan and US business hours, so I can stay on strategy and the hands-on work. You always deal with me, and I'm accountable for the result.

FAQ

Questions clients ask first.

What does an e-commerce manager actually do?

An e-commerce manager owns the whole path from ad to delivered order: the ads that bring traffic, the store and product pages that convert it, the cart and checkout, and the operations behind cash-on-delivery orders. Instead of hiring a separate ad buyer, developer and CRO consultant, you get one person who sees how every layer affects the others.

Will you make changes on my live store?

No. All work is built on a duplicate theme and shared with you through a preview link. Your live store stays untouched until you approve the changes.

Can you work on my existing Shopify theme?

Yes, including older and heavily customised themes. New sections are hand-coded in Liquid with their own scoped CSS, so they fit into what you already have without breaking other pages.

Do you do all the work yourself?

Yes. The diagnosis, strategy, design and build are done by me. A small team at Farooqui Inc supports routine execution under my direction, but I am the one you deal with and the one accountable for the result.

Do you work with stores outside Pakistan?

Yes. The team covers both Pakistan and US business hours, so international clients get responses during their working day.

Do you only run ads?

No. Ads are one layer. Many stores have ads that perform well but a website that loses the customer, so the work covers the store, product pages and cart as well.

How do we start?

Book a call. The first step is an audit of your ads and store, followed by a written plan you approve before anything is built.
